Take a look around our favorite city!
It's no secret, we love Dallas. We met here, fell in love here, are getting married here, and are planting roots here for the long run. As you come visit, we wanted to suggest some fun things to do in your spare time! Each one of these places hold a special place in our heart, and we are sure it will for you too!
The perot museum
When we arrived in Dallas for college, this gorgeous piece of architecture was still under development in downtown. We wondered for so long what it would be. Finally, a Google search revealed it would be a science museum and we were sold. On the opening day of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, we went on one of our first dates here (Kyle says first date, Holly disagrees). We learned, laughed, and had a great time. Check it out here!
northpark mall/The Shops at park lane
There were many afternoons where we couldn't decide what we wanted to do, but we knew one thing: we didn't have any money. The easiest fix for this issue was a fun walk around Northpark Mall or the Shops at Park Lane. Sure, they are stores and you can buy things there, but we just loved getting to walk around and have good conversation. If you're staying at the Magnolia or Double Tree hotel, you're in luck! They are just down the road from you! Stop by here and here to find out more!
klyde warren park
Food trucks, dog parks, and loads of activities. Need we say more? Klyde Warren Park sits on top of the Woodall Rogers freeway on the edges of Downtown and Uptown. An urban playground for the young and old alike, this park has been the backdrop for several of our dates and is always a great place to take in the city around you. Definitely stop by here to take a look!
